Accideleted gwwwwaaaaaarrggh! the worst thing that could possibly happen to anyone, happened to ME!!! me! poor me! ! even i wouldn't wish this upon my greatest enemy!!!
I lost my thumb drive. (sobs) i have searched everywhere and it's gone! and i have this feeling that it's not at home and that i have truly lost my thumb drive. usually if i cant find my things, i dont get all panicky. but this is different. i think it's intuition telling me i'm screwed!! my personal briefcase! my pocket notebook! all my notes! all my essays! all my pictures...GONE! i'm trying to remember if i have ongoing projects/essays in there currently. the super-long story i wrote for bkk on jim thompson...GONE! all gone! i spent hours on that stupid story! my fiction! i had just updated it. GONE! and that was an entire book! i was finishing it! down to the last chapter! GONE!
gwwwwaaaaaarrgghhh! i'm so depressed i couldn't continue with work. well, how was i to continue if i don't have my work with me??? sobs. i reckoned i dropped it at the kfc when i bought food back home. why??? why?? it's not like if anyone has found it can return it to me. i have no name or address to it. and what if someone DID find it! like i have personal files in there too!!! i think....sobs...
sigh. am very very depressed now. just when i was all happy and well, happy! need to get a new thumb drive. this time i'll surgically attach it to my elbow so i won't lose it ever again. great. just great.
on a slighter brighter note, my house is in a mess. all in prep for raya! mood to raya makes me forget that i actually have a tonne of school work to do! doesnt fail to happen, does it? Ramadhan had passed by sooooo fast! where did it go?? well, at least now i've made plans to go to geylang bazaar monday night. my first time for this year happens to be on the last day! hehe...bet everyone will be there! so must gear up anti-crowd devices. what fun.
sigh. thinking about raya did not help. am still depressed. where art thou, oh thumbdrive! (i should have named it like i named my laptop) i think i will give it a name...hmmm *thinks* i'm thinking Thimbelina! yeah! Thimbelina!

Au Revoirwell there you have it! today was my last day working at the airport. and frankly, though i'm relieved to have my sundays back, i'm gonna miss working there! it was fun working with some of the craziest bunch of people! i'm going to miss people-watching with sooffiyah, bitching with luqman, and mark's sudden bursts of "long live China!" (he's singaporean by the way). and of course the passengers! some fascinating, some not so fascinating! our battles with Indian nationals who ask A TONNE of questions ("What's this? how do you play this? what prizes are there? it didn't say single receipt!") yes, they were the most annoying people. can actually fight you know. mind you, i'm part indian too! haha
and the countless times sooffiyah and me have been married playing 1-2-3. err..some of my grooms were definitely not my type! and i kinda figured what kind of guy i'm generally attracted to. while many of me friends fancy suits on guys (as do i), i actually like the shirt, jacket (nice cool blazery jacket mind u. ) , jeans and sneakers kinda men. yup sneakers. a little artsy-edgy. haha i love people watching. i think the human is the most fascinating creature! i could just sit on a bench all day long and see people walk by. well, make that half a day. working at the airport has been pretty good. i dont mind working there again!
well, at least i'm now a little freer. thank goodness! tuition is rounding up as well. perfect timing...just nice for exams and raya! haha... and i have yet to go to geylang bazaar! gaah! must go soon. see if i can squeeze it on...next week? damn. ah wells...
here i am trying to begin an essay that is just not coming through at the moment. sighs...thus the blogging. i wanted to say a lot of things. but now they've slipped my mind. ah wells. another time.
oh yah! and sooffiyah reckoned she saw sean penn yesterday! SEAN PENN!!!! like he's one of my fav actors! wow! SEAN PENN!!!! talented talented guy...

StarStruckguess what?? guess! i saw HRITIK ROSHAN today!!! see, i was working at the airport, and there he was! and damn he looked good! better live than on screen i tell you! me and soofiyah were like so excited cos hello?? it was HRITIK ROSHAN!!! haha his friend collected the prize, we verified with him, and asked if we cld take a pic with hritik (wah, first name basis already! haha). the friend said "sure no problem" he'll ask hritik. so we were like whoa! so excited! and when we saw hritik coming to the booth, we were sure he was coming to take the photo with us!
but noooo. he wanted to ask where the first class lounge was. he asked soofiyah (i was attending to a customer then. damn!) and soofiyah asked if we cld take a pic. guess what he said? NO! well, more like he was busy at the moment (not too busy to visit the first class lounge eh?). we were crushed. (why am i describing this event like some primary school composition? haha)
ah wells. anyhow, besides being a prig at that moment (celebrities! hmph!) , he was HOT! really. his eyes were gorgeous. swoons.... and guess what again?? yesterday, SHAH RUKH KHAN was at the airport! and vj utt! and my colleague saw them both!! life is unfair i say! star struck, we were. haha
weirdness. i dont get starstruck that much. but with the right people, you can act like a teenager once again. proves that i'll ever grow up...not that much anyways. haha =)
