A Fashionable Holidayman..it's been some time since i blogged. a pretty busy week it had been week, what with submission and crit (phew! glad that's done and done!) and that ended off nicely with the term break!!! woohoo! a whole nice long week to just take time and...
catch up on my other modules. -_-"
yeah. the other 3 mods that has been neglected the past half-sem! hehe..talk about spring break! where's the impromptu road trip? or that party on the yacht? or some whacked out jamming like our pals do up above in the world so high (namely u.s.a of course). gah. wait long long yar before singapore school system allows us that!
and i kinda told myself sometime last year that i'd do more backpacking travelling during my week breaks. hah!
ah wells! but i had a pretty good long weekend so far for cny! that mainly involves just staying at home at chilling...oooh! which reminds me..*breaks off for commercial break* ....

...and back to me. (well duh. it is a blog abt me! hehe) anywaaay...where was i? oh yes! my ultimate boring life...ah yes...just chilling at home..watching tv. and since my computer has once again been acting all huffy and prissy (by not wanting to switch on again!!! grrr) back to the basics of reading for entertainment! reading the fountainhead by ayn rand (thanks weiq!) and i must say, i've only done like a few pages but i'm already loving it!!! =D ok..so i'm biased. the story is about an architect. and architect i like! hehe and besides that...been sprucing up my room...a room i wont often see once school starts again. seriously, what's the point??
well... got a lot of things to do on my holiday list...catch up on school work mainly, and do a lil reading. start on that forensic science essay (got to head down to the library soon! gah!), a bit of fieldtrips here and there (pretty excited about that!) and do my presentation for studio. and and and and....guess who i'm doing on??? *jumps about excitedly*

ok, honestly, when i was given him to do my presentation on, i had NO idea who the hell he was. and then when i learn about him, OMG! i'm sooo impressed by this guy! this guy! this one hell of a guy, practically transformed gucci and yves saint laurent, saved it from its wreck back in the early nineties, and made it what it is today!!! he's a genius! a real one at that! and this is what he looks like...
smoking. tom baby, could you turn un-gay and marry me? and did i mention that he was a genius?
and of course, my tutor suggested i get a sample of his latest parfum... the one that is limited edition...the one that is NOT sold in singapore!!! auggghh! and how am i supposed to do that??? when his company's contacts aint even listed!!! doomed i am. anyhow...his parfum is called
THE BLACK ORCHID
and i already want it. even though i've yet to smell that damn thing. why? because of the brand. because it's tom ford's!
gawd! now you know how branding is! me...one who is not a sucker for brands...is actually contemplating over it. mind you, it US$600 for a piece (rolls on the floor laughing)
anyhow, read up on this guy if you can..even if it's a page. he's damn impressive. the biggest star in the world of fashion i must say. and that vanity cover by ana lieboritz with scarlett johannsen and what's her name?- ah! ok, no. forgot it totally. damn. that's hot.
anyway. you kinda get when they say the world of fashion is seductive. i say, it's the world of beauty. period. my studio had a discussion over fashion, style, branding... during dinner one time. and it made me both fascinated and conscious. and makes me wanna create a new look for me this year. what should i be? what style do you think i should adopt? maybe ought to put it on viewer voting. one day perhaps! :)

this wednesday, one last dinner before our dear Aisyah takes leave again to the land down under. :( so 7.30pm at vivo city for a bit of sit, eat, chill and talk! hope you guys can make it!!!

Bytes Biteswow! i never knew how annoying my computer can be, till now. it's back to pms-ing alright...rebooting, shutting down...blah blah. and when i can finally get it to work more normally, i find i can't access some pages. like blogger. so this post is actually waaay overdue! (i still have no idea why my pages are filled with boxes even after i changed the languages! gwaaarght!)
anyway....i actually wanted to post my thanks! to a bunch of crazy fun-loving people whom i call friends. it's been close to 4 yrs yo! and i always have fun with you guys! and yes, i was genuinely suprised! and it was great! great music, great chilling, great pals! :)
the past week has been craazy. it was filming day and night. planning editing drawing. it's great fun though! but it isn't easy. filming is not easy. being a director is not easy too. neither is editing! haha a slight change makes a difference. but it's fun. and it opens your eyes to many new perspectives. notice things you never did. beauty. i'm fascinated with beauty.
the singapore river is actually damn fascinating! did i mention that i love my studio?? haha.... i consider myself lucky to have a cool tutor and cool studio mates too.
but now. bah. am sick with flu. i hate the flu. hope i recover soon. i was thinking though this year i ought to do something more meaningful. help. the world needs help and what am i doing? nothing. i think i'll participate in one of those community projects in the holidays. maybe an overseas expedition. you know...i think i will.
